These stinking sales! Especially on Geneon!
I was almost caught up! Just needed the last Last Exile disk, three more disks of Dunbine, Gundam Seed, EVA platinum, three for Gadguard, and however many more St. Seiya had left.
With the 12 days of Xmas, I bought:
DNAngel volume 1 with box
Peacemaker Kurogane volume 1 with box
along with EVA set (for a future gift), Gasaraki, Devil Lady
with the buy 2, get 1 free Geneon sale, I got:
Gungrave 1,2,3 (missed the DDD sale, I waited too long)
Stellvia 1 (love the thinpak idea)
as well as the whole Herlock series (though I finally got the last exile disk)
at various bestbuy sales, I got:
Chrono Crusade volume 1 and 2
Paranoia Agent v. 1
Requiem v. 1 (thankfully had the willpower to give it away as a gift)
So now I'm roped into 3 new Geneon series (Gungrave, Stellvia, Paranoia Agent) and 3 new ADV series (Chrono Crusade, Peacemaker, DNAngel). This is a sickness, I tell you. So can anyone give any recommendations as to which of these six are most worthwhile? As I'm only a few disks into any of them, I can probably resist the temptation to fill the empty boxes for a while and focus on a couple of them...

It's marketing at work. They gave you a hard-to-resist deal on various Vol.1 + box, but then you'll have to buy the rest of the DVDs to complete the boxes
Anyway, I would pick Paranoia Agent and Gungrave out of your six.

Ironically enough, I don't think Paranoia Agent even has a box, but it seems good enough that I'll continue with it regardless. Thanks for the recommendations, by the way...
I try to wait for boxsets or collections later too... but I'm a sucker for a good, solid box and great cover art, and that whole Witch Hunter Robin collection box left a bad taste in my mouth (I thought the book would be beautiful, but it's probably the worst DVD packaging I've ever seen). And although it makes little sense, it's easier for me to spend 15 dollars here or there for an individual release than to spend 100 bucks in one go, even if it is a cheaper alternative...
Back on topic: I know it's already posted in the Right Stuf deals, but I'm not sure if the circumstances have been mentioned: the Animeigo Macross sets on sale for 37.99 are a good deal considering Animeigo has lost the license to Macross and this might be your last chance to get it (at least until the whole Harmony Gold fiasco is settled). It's sub only, but worthwhile because of the excellent remastering (which I believe ADV used for their recent Robotech remastered set) and to see how Macross was supposed to be seen...

I don't know why but I just ordered Marmalade Boy from Overstock. Couldn't resist the discount I guess. There were 2 left when I placed my order and there is a link on page 1 of this thread.

WMVHD version of NOIR/RahXephon/Full Metal Panic
Not a bargain but it's something pretty new in the anime world.
ADV will be releasing HD version of NOIR, RahXephon and Full Metal Panic in WHVHD format and DTS 5.1.
